Brief Introduction of Fedbank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Fedbank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship is a public charitable trust which was formed by Federal Bank to commemorate the memories of its founder, K.P. Hormis. The foundation is now inviting applications for the Foundation’s scholarships for 2016-17 Batch.
Applications for the distribution of scholarships are open for students studying in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra for Medicine stream (M.B.B.S.), Engineering stream (B.E/B.Tech), Agriculture stream (B.Sc), Nursing stream (B.Sc) and all MBA courses.
20 students from each discipline, of which one seat will be reserved for a physically challenged student (duly supported in the form of a certificate issued either by a Medical Officer not below the rank of D.M.O. or an approved Medical Officer of the Fedbank), will be reimbursed full fees according to the fee structure for seats available in the Government quota in Government Aided and all Self financing colleges, subject to a maximum of INR 1,00,000/- in one year up to the completion of the course. If there are no applicants for the ‘physically challenged’ category, then applicants who have less than 40% also will be considered. Any disruption in account of any sort of failure will make the student ineligible for getting the scholarships. If applications are not received from the eligible candidates under ‘physically challenged’, it will fall under general category. The website can be accessed here http://www.federalbank.co.in/home
The student should be a citizen of India and must be studying in any of the states- Kerala,Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra in any government or aided or self financing colleges recognized by any University by central government.
The applicant must have procured admission in the merit list during the session 2016-2017 in their courses.
Family income from all the sources of the student should be below INR 3,00,000 per annum.
The decision taken on selection of eligible students and on awarding of the scholarship by the Managing Trusteemembers will be final & binding on all concerns.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
A Hard copy of the application will be accepted along with the documents if soft copy is not accepted.
Applicant should not be getting any other scholarship from any other source.
