Brief Introduction of Gandhi Fellowship Program
The Gandhi Fellowship Program is based on the believe that for India as a nation it is critically important to train and develop a cadre of young leaders who are ready to face the complexities persistent in the society to carry out necessary change in public and social systems. The Gandhi Fellowship has been developed to give youths an opportunity to undergo personal transformation by discovering themselves and thus contribute to the surrounding. It creates a legit platform for youths and young generation to engage themselves with the existing social issues in reality and channel their energies to bring out the change through their leadership and efficiently lead different types of public systems.
Eligibilty for Gandhi Fellowship Program
The candidate must be of age maximum 25 years, who have a past of exemplary achievements, excellence, rigour. Candidate must also have excellent academic record and as well as extra curricular activities such as NSS, NCC, Sports, voluntary work, literature and performing arts etc. The candidate must also posses a deep desire and must feel responsibility about bringing change and solution to the persistent problems that the country is facing.
All Young and zealous people from diverse streams are welcome such as Education, Engineering, Business and Commerce, Applied and Pure Sciences, Liberal Arts and Humanities, Law, Maths and Journalism, Social & Behavioral Science etc.
Those who are active in entrepreneurial activities will be given preference.
Selection Process
The Gandhi Fellowship Program follows a rigorous three level reflective and personalized recruitment process which judges the leadership competence of the candidates.

Grant for Gandhi Fellowship Program
The candidates who make it into this scholarship program are eligible to get a grant of INR 14000 per month plus a monthly allowance of phone amounting to INR 600. A no rent (accommodation at no cost) will be provided.
Out of the INR 14000 monthly grant only half amount will be released to candidate i.e. INR 7000, rest will be deposited as interest free reserve amount. At the end of the term of Gandhi Fellowship Program all the amount reserved and collected will be paid in full amount after a period of two years. If the Fellowship is cancelled earlier, the cumulative reserved amount will be paid to you according to following conditions:
If Fellowship terminates between between 0 to 11 months, no claim for cumulative reserve amount will be eligible.
If Fellowship terminates after completion of 12 months, the candidate is entitled to claim full cumulative reserve amount for twelve months (i.e. 7000×12), but amount will be given only at the end of the Fellowship term.
If Fellowship terminates between 12-22 months, No claim will be givenfor additional months after 12 month.
If Fellowship completes in 23 months, candidate is entitled to claim all 23 months of cumulative reserve amount (i.e. 7000×23).
